1967 mustang fastback

Dirt track car , field find. Chassis is a 1964 ford Galaxie Shortened , full perimeter boxed frame , Built like a tank.

Rear axle is an F600 full floater ( 1963 ish ) Two speed . Turns a four speed into an eight speed. Big Ford discs up front.

Front suspension modification to NASCAR center steer . Fast ratio steering with a chain driven adapter . It's awesome . Perfect hot rod project. It's kind of like a gasser , Next step putting these door skins on doors Vent windows and all. Too much to write

I've offered to build a Boss 429 for this old mustang. Prefer not to build a Chrysler for it. Everybody would probably hate it. But I'm building a 426 hemi with a NASCAR Kellogg destroker spinning assy. But with a 4.3750 bore. Perfect for a light hotrod.

But Most likely not for this old Stang. I think a Boss nine is the ticket. Myself..I think bang for buck..a 354 hemi would be hard to beat. The looks , the power ...and parts everywhere. The 354 is the red headed stepchild of the Chrysler family tree. My old pal Cotton Owens would agree .
